on the proc thing - i think its best to get a player crafted weapon with a proc on it - usually you can get this pretty cheap if you want first try weapon (usually better than drops anyways)

if you wanna make a template, then get a lvl 40 armor and sc it with no overcharge (faster) - cap all stats melee res + body, and a few skill u might need (stealth, cs, trust)

I have an inf temp in brae mostly because I want to be able to effectively level afterwards until 47 or so when I go to thid. Capping RR in this bg IMO is extremely important because you can buy RAs that will help you level till next bg.

I dont know the temp off hand, because I made the leather and SCed it myself to whatever I needed, BUT heres a few items that are level 50 template worthy that work at level 35.

Gem of Spirit abhorrent 7% heat 7% matter 7% energy 7% body. 56 utility on a gem is VERY good in classic. Take it.

Sapphire Seal DF belt. 6% slash 6% crush 6% body 12 str. 44 utility on a belt in classic is also very nice.

Now some stuff you want temporarily.

Emerald seal necklace. str 13 dex 13 qui 13. All stats an assassin can use. not bad if you dont have another one (which I didnt)

Ring of body aborrent (I might be mistaken about this name, its pygmy drop, very common, merchant fodder, you can probably buy one off a farming cab for 2 gold) has some str, con, and 2 melee resists.

Emerald seal ring. 48 hits and I think 18 str.

Emerald seal bracer 19 dex 15 con (I think, numbers might be backwards)

With this stuff, you just spellcraft the rest you need. (melee resists, cap off your stats, body resists, hits, etc)

Make sure to get some PC weapons with procs.
