I ve made a few tests on Pendragon and i go to this conclusion:
- if u spec 35+15 blades and 50+15 CD or 50+15 blades and 50+15CD when using CD styles u will make same dmg, style growth remains the same, yes if u will use blades styles when having 35+15 blades skill u will hit with 15% less style growth then when having 50+15 blades speced.
-the same goes for axe/sword hammer Laxe in midgard, and same for slash/crush/thrust DW in alb.

For the nonbelievers i will post later on the pics and the maths to see . just a hint for those who start the game or already started.

Uthgard respects live tests for Laxe , others realms i havent tested yet.

Ever heard of Wyrd? Unless Im misunderstanding what you are tying to say, he did these tests and proved all this like 6 years ago. Google "wyrd spec."

Ya, this is already known. The game uses your base spec (blades, blunt or pierce) for computing base dmg (which will cap at your level composite), and uses your spec in whatever line you are styling to calculate your style damage.

For left axe users, your offhand base dmg will be based on your left axe spec.

Defense penetration should scale off the line you are using, or off your base line if attacking unstyled.

Once upon a time in Dark Age of Camelot, there was a Shadowblade named Wyrd who wondered about the mechanics of the game. He performed some tests and posted his results so that everyone could learn what he found out. The people rejoiced, and many have called his spec "Wyrd Spec" in his honor (though it probably existed before him, but he proved it beyond a shadow of a doubt).

I bequeath unto you Wyrd Spec. The end.

Well since he had alrdy did his testing and posted it here, i dont think it really matters if someone had done it alrdy. There is many tests ive done, that im sure others had done way before me, but id like to see for myself. I put in the time because i wanted too, so its not a big deal. Anyone that puts efforts into testing things, should be thanked for the efforts, wether its been done before or not. So thanks Glacius for taking your time to test something out. I may have alrdy known about some of it, as i tested things out too, but your info will help newer players who may not know.

Why google, when your reading it now.
