Hi there!
Quick question about the RA charge. When trying to CC a charging enemy do you get any messages about that charge is active, i.e somethin like "Target is charging you, mezz resisted". Or do you just get a ordinary flat out resist? |

As far as I know you get normal resist message on Uthgard, which is probably not livelike.

Hmm, maybe our mysterious resist problem?
Edit: Looked into code and there is a subtile difference. Normal spell resist messages are like this: Blue resists the effect! Resists by Charge, Vanish, SoS: Blue resisted the effect! It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

Well, that could be some reason. Already saw some players casting 3 - 4 ccs in a row because they didn't notice charge or sos, and then complaining "wtf he resisted all roots". Or some healers dumping insta ccs on caba pet that used rr5

That's the message you get if you try to CC someone under charge on live.
More clear than on uthgard ^^ Dunno yet if it's the same for sos though. |

Thanks for the replys. Would be great if that would change to livelike, i probably have done what Hedra wrote on a couple accasions

SOS gives different message depending of the type of cc.
But I never heard of vanish giving CC immunity. Afaik it just gives 1 or 2 seconds while you can't be unstealthed, then just a disarm effect, no CC immunity. Or am I wrong ? |

Well I can't reproduce it with vanish on live. The stealther is 100% invisible for a few seconds even with 1 on stealth spec and standing on him, and when I can see him again there is no immunity to CC spells.

AOE mezz? Would it hit stealthed players?

Well duel on live ends automatically when I cast on another target, so that didn't work. Maybe it would work with 2 different realms but that's a bit too annoying to do just to check a message you can get during a few seconds, sorry ^^

Getting a resist on an invisible target isn't that important anyway from a grped mezzer's perspective. ;P

I did, but when the stealther vanishes and I cast an AoE mezz that hits it, he's going to be immune. Whether or not I get a specific message for it or not.  |
