So I'm sitting here, wondering why there's so few albs out there in RvR except for relict raids or other semi-PvE-events, coming to the conclusion that as an alb, you got like the double amount of enemies as a hib or mid. Double the jenga, you know.

So the idea is tempting to level my 40ish sorc to 50 and try out alb PuG-rvr myself. Question is: is there any form of halfway decent PuG-rvr existent on albion, or am I wasting my time by leveling a toon to 50? Are the only decent groups out there guildgrps/setgroups, or is there a way to actually have fun in emain as an alb without being in a big guild or in a set group? This question goes out to the few albs who really do RvR, so please no statements from PvE-orientated players. No offence though.

Nooo don't go alb, I want incs when I play :D

Well, more seriously there arent any setgroups on alb. KT and Rare usually play in guild pugs though, and same for that german ally (templar of twilight, albions vengeance etc) that plays in ally pugs. You may not be in group with them very often unless they miss somone to fill a group ^^

But there are quite often other random pugs I think. Sometimes decent, sometimes not really, like on all realms ;p

This is very true. Last night i knew many who stayed in with their thid alts because of mid/hib zerg. Zerging like this on such a small server pop is incredibly damaging to the community.

This thread is not about zergs and where to RvR (although there were still pretty few albs in emain when it wasn't zergy, like weeks ago, so zerg isn't the only reason imo), so please cut the discussion about who zergs etc.

Only thing I asked was to be enlightened about albions "PuG-community". And I'm still interested to hear more opinions from RvR-albs about that.

There are alb rvr-pugs around, but unless you make yourself a good name playing your class, you should be able to switch classes if neccesary IF you really want to have fun in pugs every night!

Sorc is a good start, but how good are you actually at it? Roll a cleric to lvl50 as second char. with this combo youre mostlikely to land in a pug or at least random each night.
If you roll a shieldpala and theurg, youll raise your chances even higher, but for that you really need to invest time to get those toons to level 50.

If you make yourself a name playing one of your chars, like many others did(you dont even need high RR to be known as a good player), youll be asked to join groups.

Albion has 2-3 pugs rolling every evening so just check it out when your reach lvl 50 and get your sc.

As said there's enough PuG grps on alb side with varying quality. If you can't coop with playing in them, I can't anyway, too frustrating, you should try getting into the more established, RvR orientated guilds. I myself never RvR outside my guild or with other people that I know to be good.

Well I dont really want to invest more time into pve than necessary. I even started this thread because of the time needed to lvl from 40 to 50 without a setgroup.

Don't wanna brag here, so I'm gonna say I'd be "ok" as sorc :P

But it sounds like there actually exists PuGs on alb, so I'm gonna give it a shot! Thanks for the infos, and feel free to post more opinions.
