Hi all!

Could use some help with choosing a spec for me.

My first thought is 44LA 39Axe 34CS rest a mix of stealth and poison.

Btw i am autotraining till 40 atleast, minimum. :)

Please give tips of specs and tell me why thats good!

Best Regards!

For XP i went Zerkspec and did really well (most time solo from 1-48).
Now in Thid i'm still Zerk speced (48 LA, 10 Crit, 36 Axe/Stealth/Envenom) and everything is working fine. Casters are a joke even with my pathetic CS Spec ;) Against other Stealthers and Tanks that spec is working fine too.
After opening with backstab you switch to LA Backchain which is great dmage. Stun immunity of backstab is very short, so you can use your LA Stun-Chain nearly right at the beginning of the fight.
Unfortunately i cannot tell you how it will work at lvl 50, but at least until you leave Thid, Zerk spec is great here.

there is many templates for an SB:

1) sword39 / 50cs / 34stealth / 34venom / rest LA

This is the classical 2handed PA,

you will use 2h+snare(becuz it slows the enemy in order to land stun combo cuz he might try to sprint you off) on opening pa and switch to LA(debuff str/con and dot) after the combo pa has landed in order to trigger poisons.

With such a build, if not oneshot, the dmg dealt on PA opening styles is huge and u can stun after evade with 39sword style to make up for the low LA spec.

2) weap39 / 10cs / 34stealth / 34venom / 50LA

Zerker sb,
Not necesserily needed to zigzag on stealthing bakstab(mage jus die so easy), and you have more dps on long fights if someone uncovers you cuz 39 la stun after evade combo,

the zerk spec allows u to proc more often if u use fast weapons(since both hands always hit) as well as better poisoning and no switch is needed with 2handed.

Pve wise with the lv9cs pincer u miss less cuz of high bonus to hit. Even if u not speced full CS its better to land a small hit than miss alot isnt it?

3) the all spec, all is 34 but 39LA
nice polyvalence with stun LA after evade, and u can PA too but you will not oneshot often, only crit PA might.

2h spec isn't viable as 2h PA makes the same dmg as dual wield PA

Style damage is based off of main hand wep and wep skill.

Slow hard hitting main hand means a higher style bonus.

Hence you should use a slow main hand and fast off hand on all dual wielding classes since their swing speed is pretty much added together and then halved. Especially so with any mid since, as stated, they always swing both hands.

midgard dual is different, unstyles dmg(base dmg) on uthgard uses the old formula of 62.5% + 0.33*Leftaxe for ONE HAND

if you go fast left hand here comes the result: (with 0La)

Right hand 62.5% + left hand 62.5%
the right hand loses almos 40% dmg cuz of la mechanics, and to make it worth the dual wielding ratehr than 1handed, u need a left hand to compensate the loss of these 40% dont you?

Which means u need to get at least a left hand that deals 40% to compensate the loss on the right hand and the fastest left hand wont make it worth it.

I've found myself vry happy using 3.5 Right and 3.4 left, around that number u cap on speed(1.5 fastest swing) when the grp contains a celerity healer(useful for pve side or even rvr if u do grp a healer as a SB)

My math may be wrong, I would like to think I don't screw up simple things but I very well may.

30 Total damage, from two weapons in one swing.

Two same speed weapons, 15*.625 = 9.375*2 = 18.75

Slow main hand and fast off hand, 20*.625 = 12.5 + 10*.625 = 18.75

Swing speed at 60 qui is both weps added together then halved. (http://www.classesofcamelot.com/misc/growthrates.asp)

Assuming style damage is still based off of main hand on Uthgard, you are still better off with a slow main hand and a fast off hand to speed up the swing speed. We may very well be agreeing, or maybe you replied to a psot other than mine. In any case this will hopefully clear things up for anyone else watching.

Style damage will use your mainhand weapon speed, modified by quickness and spell haste to determine your main hand effective swing speed, and then use that to determine your style dmg. By using a slower mainhand and a faster offhand you will swing your weapon faster and also do more style dmg.

Any reason why you would think they couldn't ? Charplan that Uthgard uses says they can.

- SHADOWBLADE -

Crit.Strike - 21
Left Axe - 44
Axe - 39
Stealth - 36
Envenom - 36
---
Auto-training stealth starts at level 8, each four levels you will auto up one level of stealth the number on the right is how many auto-train points you will benefit from each level you auto train to. Put that number in the bonus area on the character builder 2 and work out your auto-trained spec.

8 = 2
12 = 5
16 = 9
20 = 14
24 = 20
28 = 27
32 = 35
36 = 44
40 = 54
44 = 65
48 = 77
I'm ChefCook , who want's some Food ??? C/8)
