Well.. I rather have the classic feeling about actually finding enough players to fight with or against. ;)

Once Uthgard gathers more players I see no problems in abandoning the measures to help make up for the lack of RvR players. For now however, if people can't find RvR, people can't find DAoC, and you can make things as classic as you can, but without people to fight, you aren't going to attract more players.

well yeah, I kinda stopped RvR-ing since OF.

I wonder where you got this information from. There are more players in RvR than in NF at all. At prime time we have around 140-150 players in OF at the moment. It were 220 around the day we introduced OF.

To the ones who dont RvR since OF the same whine happened to NF ("there are less players..."). I remember good the times we had NF/Agra. I could even lookup the thread about NF with the same words ("Stopped playing... FG kills RvR... got killed and logged out... solo play dead... Zerg...").

Just keep playing and give things time.

Maybe it's time for you to stop looking at statistics and start playing? :>

It's enough to log on at ~6-7 pm to see how many ppl afk in their portal keep. Does it mean they are in RvR?

If they decide to afk I can't do anything against it. And with prime time I mean 21-22 german time. Not 6 o clock when people come from work or do other things. If some players don't play they have no right to QQ about no enemies when they contribute to such a situation.

I posted a proposal in staff forums for the following 2 points:
- Port timer reduction to 6 minutes
- Horseroutes in OF to counter reduced porter times. One for every Borderkeep.

Can't give an ETA until the decision is made. BP bonuses are not discussed yet but in future they will propably come to attract soloers. Theres also still the problem that XP spots are not attractive enough to get XP'ers in there and out of DF.

Thanks for the heads up. I can't agree more on the XP spots really, and I think many of us think likewise.

How about that second channeler port after 30 seconds first port?

I cant see what harm it will do this, besides stopping players to wait for someone who forgot the necklace or didnt make it in time.

Less waittime for the win. More rvr is more fun. More wait is more /quit.

Ah yes forgot that point. I proposed a second chance port after 20sec. 30sec is too much for me :) As someone posted this was changed by Mythic around 1.6x
