i can't win 15% health CS character.

1. i find close range him! (try this /groundset 250, he's in stealth mod)
he health is 15%!! and he sit down now! i think it's my win!
2. use slam ( i hit! 175 if shot the rapid dmg is 175 under..i think.)
3. he have immunity sturn
4. he hit me, 97+poison(75)
5. i 1 time block left hand
6. he evade my attack
7. i 1 time block right hand
8. he hit me 56 left hand
9. effect poison hit me 75
10. he hit me and sturn me! 124 + 60
11. and again hit 154+poison(74)+bleeding 4
12. and again hit 162+ crt 34 +left 64 + bleeding 6
13. he evade my attack
14. and again hit 183+ left 67
15. i'm die lol

slash : 29 + 9
shield : 42 + 3
bow : longbow 42 + 14

Ya, that can happen sometimes, espicaly because your using slash and take full effect of his str/con debuff, which trashes your WS, ontop of your low slash spec. Also the loss of the con drops your health , making it instant dmg, and the dots can eat up life fast too. With all that and his 40-50% evade rate and evade styles can be costly, if you cant slam him. With my ranger its a little easyer because i can dual wield and cut his evade in half, but still face those evade a little. Once i remember volleying a assasin who was in stealth down to 10% life or so, with 6 arrows and when he got to me , the fight ended quick lol. Doesnt happen that often, but sometimes people just get very lucky.

Id recommend carring a str/con charge, if you can, and you have to have charges and pot buffing to counter theres, even though youl be debuffed. Also try using shield style numb to trick them to blow purge if they got it, since your slam is importent for a scouts dmg, compared to other archer classes. And dont listen to those who claim archers are not ment to kill anything, with the current setup on uthgard , may make it harder, but it is still possible. Just takes some out smarting, and youd be supprised at how predictiable people can be. Good Luck, and dont let such disencouraging outcomes change your mind about your scout. We need more archers then rangers out there.

Usual senario...
Be used to be owned several time by sb/ns.

First: Seems that you need good sc.
Second: In low rr scouts and hunters only can if they want get rps. All hight rr sbs and nss will gang you because most of them use purge 2 or 3 and viper3.

In this server there are only one good archer and it is ranger.

judging by your skill bonuses, I'd say you need new gear.
equip yourself, get some RR and learn a few tricks. but yes, archers have it hard on Uthgard.

Use moblocking 3/4 and volley and you win

may I ask why slam is better when he could have shot him 1-2 times, then slammed him as he got to him?

You could have try to slam after those 1-2 shots. And if he had immunity wait some seconds and try to slam again maybe immunity wears off.

well in his situation, if he thought the enemy was about to stealth, drawing the bow could have been enough to for restealth, and if he doesnt have high enough MoS, he may think he would of gotten away, so he may of thought slaming quickly was the best choice. And if he didnt have immunity, it could of been the best choice.

And one trick ive learned on purga, back when they removed the duel wielding bonus vs evade, making even a ranger duel wielding vs a assasin, harder because of the full evade chance then. I found that sometimes you need to just run threw them and quickly face and attack, or just move around and hope you get some styles behind or side of him to avoid his defense. Not easy and you may miss out on styles because of not facing your target, if done wrong, but it beats 50% evade sometimes.

He tried to slam him by surprise... trying a front slam on a sb is not that easy since he will evade most of them. Untill then he will be almost dead and won't be able to volley because of poison !

SB have 360° evade >.<....
