A few noob questions, please help!

I tried everything in the keyboard commands, how do I have my camera free so I can hold right click and look around without changing the direction of my character?

For keyboard stuff type /keyboard. the thing you search for is camera pan or something like that. Use the left mouse button, that's the default mouse pan key. You can always use /keyboard to change it to something else...
