problem is that the anti-bot feature doesnt work anymore with me. i had the field where i have to write in "anti-bot-text" 2-3 maybe 4 weeks ago, but now i only get the weird site w/o request or text-field.

Then i tried with "my account" at the top of the page, which lets me alter my profile, but now my sig-picture with my chars is gone :-(

The anti-bot thing seems to be gone, true. However, I could still alter my sig and it works just fine!

Note: I did it in the profile section of the board. I also tried your script and it seems to work fine for me... the only thing I did that's not included in your sig is the trailing slash for XHTML:
Code: Select all
<img src="http://your.url/script.php" />

Since im totally noob at this things, i dont get what you exactly mean :?

and weird thing is that i can see the image in my profile-editor, but when i look at it in the forum it only gives out the script.

Ok, check your profile page for 2 lines:
  • HTML is ON (under the signature bit);
  • Always allow HTML: Yes (under "Preferences").

If those are both active, try adding a slash (/) at the end of the img tag, just before the closing bracket (>). If that doesn't work, the only other explanation I could give you is that phpBB only takes VALID XHTML (which means, no formatting parameters in the markup - try without the border or, if you really want it, use the code below):
Code: Select all
<span style="border: 1px solid #(your colour hex value)"><img src="http://your.url/script.php" /></span>

Edit: I've tried the piece of code in my own sig and it works just fine, as does Runis' one. Something is fishy here.
