Forum/assist bug [FIXED]

You can type /assist then the name of someone in another realm. If they are in the zone, it will say the target is not nearby. If they are not in the zone, it will say invalid target, and if they are close it will "is not a member of your realm".
What's the deal with that? People can use it to see if stealthers, or anyone for that matter is in your zone. It really makes it a lot harder for me to gank greys in darkness falls, because people can see that I'm in the zone, or more specifically, when I get close. Other stealthers can use it to camp areas, like milegates, or groups of greys. This is wack, and I think should not be able to be used. I don't think it was like this on live, and definitely should not be part of the Uthgard server. Thank you & long live Albion! -Mcpain Train P.S. Uthgard rules! |

Good find if you tested it, i dont use /assist in that way so i never knew it did that. And alot of people can find you in DF easy, when the chat says you killed someone, sets off red flags. Your bound to be caught picking on those poor grays lol.

Best way, ofcourse is to /appeal or whatever...
Then have a conversations like this running, with a gm: -Ive found a bug, thats workring like that.. -Impossible, i dont belive you! -Log on and ill prove my point. -Ok. -see? -no ****** it does indeed, thanks! dont spread this info any further, will be fixed as soon as possible. |
