The bonus experience for leveling in the frontiers needs to be addressed, it's only about a 5% bonus, is that intended after there was a 60% bonus in Agramon?

Splitted from OF relic keep bug thread

You have a 40% bonus behind enemy milegates. This area is still safer than Agramon, because the chance to be found is very low. Try to think in experience bonus over time and you will see what I am talking about. Of course you had 60% in Agramon, but you couldn't stay there long.

These are the correct bonuses. Doesn't change the fact that there's no good exp spots though, at least not for 40+ and especially not behind enemy milegates. |

Yeah, the XP spots really need some work.

Where we have to say that running through the gate is still dangerous for levelers. It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.
Every bug gets fixed. Sooner or later. "It is an inescapable law of nature that the amount of satisfaction one gains from achieving something is related to how hard it is and easy things can only elicit a fleeting superficial sort of pleasure." Blue says, "you used macro tools or macro keyboard" Pala says, "i am disabled. and i have a mechanic left hand that can be programed. its hard to play woith one hand" [Appeal] Bxxxxxxxx: "why is RA first aid cann man i stealth use and not unstealth cann man ra if man use unstealth ?????????" BannedUser: "i was not using automate game action my hand was fall on keyboard during i was sleep .... i was completly fall on keyboard ..." |

I think the bonuses should be this.
Static: +25% to experience gained in Darkness Falls +40% to experience gained behind enemy milegates +30% to experience gained in primary frontier zones +20% to experience gained in secondary frontier zones +10% to experience gained in tertiary frontier zones 10% for the tertiary zone, because 5% is just not much at all and you are still at risk, very small risk but still. 20% for secondary zone because it is more risky because of the keeps in that zone do get fought over and because its 20% its almost good as DF, but safer then DF so maybe worth it. 30% for prim zone because its very risky still, and since in DF its mostly just stealthers coming for lvls, the prim zone is more risky and should be worth a little more, even though its bigger, people will get use to the primary lvling spots in time. But the current settings are fine, but i would fine tune it a little, but not that big of a deal. |

the main reason not to xp in rvr-zones is, unlike df, you cant place tinders there. as a friar or pala that might not be a problem, but others....

shammy+healer pac need for mid.. it's not a problem.. imo ![]() |

Ah I missed those bonus notes. Still 5% seems a bit low. I feel they should be bumped a bit for lower level folks who might not have access to DF when it's closed for their realm.

You seem to forget the meaning of the term "bonus". Why should there be a bonus if you can level almost safe in a huge area without any dangers or without doing anything for the bonus?

Its more or less that in tertiary zones are most low mobs. Most of the time the players that only get 5% are low ones. go into another realm (and take high risks for that) does not bring more xp, unless u find (good) lowspots in hw/og/emain.
i think the "behind-enemy-mg" bonus is not good... and tbh i dont know a single good spot behind enemy milegates except of the spots behind amg in emain. ok i did not search everywhere and there is nothing bad about the bonus itself but 95% of the persons who lvl in OF won't go behind mgs, in fear of getting farmed and/or because there is no spot in their lvl range. So the only one's who have an advantage of that are 40+ ppl. Maybe it would be possible to replace the bonus (or addtionaly) give a 25-30% xp bonus for lvling in an enemy realm(and no zonebound bonus when xping there). Or 5-10% addtionaly + zonebons... i think there are many possiblities to calibrate it the right way. Just some thoughts ![]() |
