Hello Uthgard,

I've never played a ranger, scout or hunter. But i bring a friend on Uthgard, who never played DAoC before. He play a scout, lvl 12 now.

But he's already bored... only one skill : critical shot. On character builders, we can see that on live we have a lot of skills, like envenom arrow, fire arrow, and so on.

What are skills for bow on Uthgard and when we get it, please ? Is there a character builder for Uthgard ?

has a pretty good char builder that fits pretty well for uthgard

what you have is one with "new" archery system

on uthgard (as it is classic) runs with the old system

so no fire, cold, acid etc. arrows

Hard for a new player. XP is a pain... and no PvP until lvl 20. I'll try to keep him on Uthgard

scout is quite easy with a good partner..f.e. with a cabalist. or infiltrator with good cs-styles (backstab etc..)

Scout is reall easy to play up to at low levels when using the bleed style and crafted bow. i always could chain yellows for cap xp until late 30s.. Crafter weapons make a huge difference, also xping in DF is recommended, i often found i got that dmg add by passing wizzys/theus.

even later you can solo yellows/ojs no prob. just skill bow + shield.. shield to slam, bow to shoot while slammed..most mobs are dead after slam + critshot..again. but..you lack endu sometimes..and sometimes you miss all day long..
