I'm pretty sure the app wont be able to write anything in there in case of a "hard crash". But you may have a look into your critical.log in the Electronic Arts folder in MyDocuments.

critical.log is empty
but i toke look to debug.log file and when i logged in with the active OF patch there was no errors, but when i unloaded the OF patch and logged in i found 3 new lines --> *** Could not find zonejump.csv from [zones/zone007/csv007.mpk] *** Could not find zonejump.csv from [zones/zone010/csv010.mpk] *** Could not find zonejump.csv from [zones/zone015/csv015.mpk] My personal opinion those are the 3 files what dont alow me to zone with active patch |

Got mine working after doing a clean install (win 7) and downloading DAoC again.

Problem solved.
Thanks to the person who took care of it ... i dint reinstall or do anything .. just activated the OF Patch and tried to login .. everything works fine. |

could i meet this person? i really hate to start reinstalling everything, too much time consuming...

I think a re-install of DAoC and clean Patch is recommended. It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

had the same Problem with xp. Now I have Windows 7 and at the moment I can log in. (But get kicked out because of 1.99^^) Problem I had when I was trying to install DAoC with Windows 7 from the DAoCPortalpage was Error 308, couldn't find the connection to the Server. /shrug official camelot.exe from the official DAoC Site worked but made me 1.99 we'll see... Duke are you sure you downloaded from daoc.goa.com bc i dont know the EU has the 1.99 implemented yet. I rahter think you downloaded from US website

Its not even funny anymore, made today clean install on win7, daoc and portal with the patch. No updates and yet again when i try to log in - my client crashes....
How can it be i dont get it. |

Same issue. When I apply the patch I'm crashing after I've selected a character and attempting to load the world.
When removing the patch everything runs smoothly. Edit: Someone I know put the patch on a fresh install. No avail, the same issue/error as me and the others. |

OK i got the issue sorted out, thanks for Nayru spending over an hour his time to figure how to apply the patch.
I hope it will be sorted out for those who having a problem with applying the patch. Thanks again! |

Do you have a second computer where you could install a clean copy of DAoC and try to patch? If that works, just copy that client back to your computer.
