Hi all! I'm trying right now to set a bid for an items at the auctioneer... but everytime I set a bid for it, apper the msg: "You have been overbidden by NAME" with the new offer xxx gold and 1 silver". Is there a command to set the autobid?? I started from 100g and atm I'm at 250g but he's still winning the auction :(

Its the same as ebay. You enter your highest bid and if someone else bis you "overbid" them until he hits your maximum.

There is no autobid.

Mmm.. i think i didn't understand really well.... There were nobody near the auctioneer when i was setting a bid for the item. So I thought the guy had set a maximum offer starting from a lower 1 so his bid wasincreasing everytime some1 make a big higher than his one.

easy explanation:

starting bid is at 50g..so 50g is displayed..
someone bid on the item 500g as his highest bid but still 50g is displayed

now you start to bid on that item and you begin with lets say 100g
so the one who bet befor you the 500g overbid you automaticly for 1c since his maximum offer was 500g.

as soon as you hit the highest bid you are no longer overbid.
if you realy want the item you just have to find out where the maximum bid is by bidding more when you´re offer is too low.
