But then you wouldn't be able to kill anything because it would be harder to add fg's all the time, like you do now :'(

I don't think so if they can clean milegates from stealther fgs.

Seriously dude, learn to play your hunter and you'll be able to slain every stealther you want.

That one made me laugh hard.
I have yet to find a Hunter i cannot easily kill with my Ranger.
Some of them are nasty with lagthrough and backstun, but not even that saves them usualy.
In Agramon i lost exactly one 1v1 fight against a hunter so far and that was when the bugged healpets were implemented and i saw them the first time, chainhealing the hunter and even that one was close.

I'll try it again with 6L0+ maybe, when I can have high PD and MoS. With 4LX, I was not able to kill most stealthers 1on1. And if I did, every thenth fight, I died a moment later on their poison. Fun factor = zero.
Though I'd really like to see a hunter killing Dam in a regular 1on1, but I don't think anyone can do that atm ^^

Dont go Melee, that is my advice as hunter. Just dont go Melee.
Even u think Infi/Ns/Ranger is at 20% -> Dont go Melee.

Hunter problem is that he use ver slow weapon. In thid i only can kill ns , or infi if i can do critshot, but if ns or infi use viper i cant kill them with and without critshot, is ever the same story viper+evade, evade, evade...

Who to fight then when not going Melee?

- Attack visible solo players from far away with bow?
-> sadly, there are almost none.

- Add in fights from far away with bow?
-> you'll be hated by everyone.

- Kill other stealthers solo? (as there are lots)
You need MoS4+, then you are able to do 1-2+ shots maybe, and then you can go melee or kite. Might work.

Yes, sometimes there are solo Friars or Reavers. Then I agree, never go melee ^^

There are only one good archer in daoc who don´t need add and is ranger, rest sux a lot. If you want play stealther in alb or mid you should choise infi or sb, with scout or hunter you only can add. Scout damage sux and his slam is ever purged, hunter is ever evaded, his bow damage sux a lot too, and pet is a joke. Only ranger is good he hit fast and hard, has damage add and other self buff, his damage with bow is awesome...

I don't know why everybody think that having strong RAs is the only way to win a fight. God isn't going to come on earth to learn you to play. SO stop zerkin, go solo and if you lose ,try again. If you're clever enough you'll find there aremillions of possiblity with a hunter. But yes it's harder than spamming double frost with your heavy dwarf.
