is the 50% SM pet intercept rate ," working as intended" or is this a bug?

Intended for the highest pet. Lower pets -> lower intercept.

Yesterday i was hitting an SM for 150(-10)ish damage with styles and the intercepting damage on the pet was like 30(+5).

Are the pets supposed to have this kind of uber melee absorbtion?

I played SM alot on live and from what i remember, no.

i never played one, but i remember people complaining that if they get PA'ed the pat would die.

kinda silly thing to complain about. after all. you could of been PA'ed and not the pet

Wonder how much damage you would do if u would have directly PAed the pet. The intercepted damage should be atleast equal - if daoc would be consistent and logic.

Maybe you should google it.
