about camoflage:

actual status:
you attack a mob ... camo timer remains untouched
Mob attacks you ... camo timer remains untouched
you attack enemy ... camo timer reseted to 10 minutes
enemy attacks you ... camo timer remains untouched

for the reset of the timer it doesnt matter if came where active or not.

additional question of me:

is it normal that camo timer is resetted when an enemy hits you first and you defend yourself?
i mean if you dont acted agressive.
i found no clear statement in any article anywhere about that, and i have no live account to test it myself.

Here is some other info about camo you should know.

When its active, you are camoed from Enemey's Mastery of Stealth bonus and the assasins Detect Hidden skill. Of what i read, and im not sure if this is currect formula on uthgard , but your Be detected Radius around you is this. (Enemys Level - Your Stealth level with item bonus) * 20 + 125. The result is how many units away can you be detected. Example LvL50 enemy and you have 29+11 stealth. Your enemy will be able to see you at 325 units away from you. To see what that is in game, just type /groundset 325, where the Gound Target lands is your radius with camo up or vs non stealth classes. If you dont have camo you have to add your enemys MoS bonus and there Detect hidden bonus if they are assasins. Now your detection radius will very as you move and or target moves and of course lag. Plus im not 100 % sure about my formulas and what uthgard has, but of what i seen, its a good place to start with, to understand.

Another thing, dont hide away if your Camo isnt up, to avoid being PA/BS by an assasin, youl be sitting out alot if you do. Best plan is to have MoS2 or 3 and bind the command nearest target to your mouse or a key you got easy access too and if you think there is assasins in the area, you can try hitting nearest enemy over and over to quickly select them, hit face and attack. You can ever walk around in stealth with weapons drawn for a quick unstealth of them. Just remember if you select someone, you will get unstealthed with weapons drawn.
