i have been playing the game no problems for the last few days... then i changed to windowed mode under options in the char screen.. now every time i try and load the game my moust gets pulled up into the left corner of the screen i can move it down then it instantly gets sucked back up there then my whole computer freezes and crashes
... i also cannot connect to any DOL websites or anything like that....i would just jump my computer back a day but it decided to not store my restore points... is there a way i can change this all back with out reformatting my computer because this is ****** me off to no end

edit: oh and when i try and load up the portal it now says.... something like the normal server list is unavailable

Well; this can be a variety of reasons; and by your explanation; it doesn't give me much to go on.

Operating System:
Memory:
Video Card:
Back-Up Software:

Browsing History: Anything recently downloaded from not so safe sites.

Other Problems:

This is a good way to start. Because It maybe a bad coding error in the launcher itself; it maybe your graphics card does not support windowed mode; or you have out of date drivers.

How old is your hard drive; it may have a bad sector affecting the game; when was the last time you defragmented your system. Have you tried a Hard Reset? (Unplugging your CMOS Battery; wait for 30seconds and putting it back in)

There are tons of variables here.

Shut-down is different from freezing and crashing

If you are running Windows XP or greater; are you using virtual memory....

I can go on and on; need more information

as i had said the ONLY thing changed was the windowed mode as in i was in a game changed to windowed mode and all of this happened when i logged back in 2 secs later..just need a way to change it back to not windowed mode without opening the game up

Have you tried opening the game in Safe-Mode with Networking?
Or have you done a restore to last known good configuration?

I don´t know for sure where your Application Data folder is in Vista, but there is a user.dat file in your game folder there which you can open in a text editor and change windowed=1 to windowed=0.

It´s something like X:/users/yourusername/appdata/electronic arts/dark age of camelot/lotm.
