Cant connect to server, v1.99?

Ive just downloaded the full game from the official daoc website and its patched itself to v 1.99. I cant get into the game with an error coming up saying i may have the wrong (US) version

Can i de-patch it to a lower version? Ive run the patch link in the DAOC Portal app and it runs through a quick "DAOC Live" process and says Patch Complete.

HELP!!!!

never mind, didnt realise it was a common problem, should have looked in previous threads
