ForumDAOC Portal Application Error ~HELP!~

this is what the error says.
Portal.exe - application error The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135) click OK to terminate the application. What does this mean? i tried removing it, and downloading it 6 times already, but it doesnt seem to work, can someone help me? trying to use portal 2.3v older version i had worked fine, but had to wipe computer and i lost that file  |

im running Windows XP, Service pack 1.
i tried everything. removing, redownloading Daoc, the portal several times. cant seem to get it  |

i found out the problem. i needed to manually download .Netframework 2.0.
now i have another error.. when i punch in my account info it loads then says renderer creation failed! Error Client Crash before Connect. Your client crashed before it even started connecting. You could try to run camelot.exe with 'Check All Files' enabled. im using darkness rising client.. |

I had the 'Renderer Creation failed!' problem. All fixed now - shame i couldn't reply sooner ;]
Why not download and use DAoCPortal v2.4b? :] |
