.. are there any good charmable Mobs in NF?

----------------

So far discovered mobs that are charmable with lvl50 and 50 Beastcraft:

pictish druid at Hadrian's Wall - root, dot, selfdmgadd :)
vampiric spider at Hadrian's Wall - dot :)

pictish warrior at Hadrian's Wall - styles, after-parry-stun :|
isalf marauder at Odin's Gate - style, block, after-block-stun :|
(reactive stuns are not really helpful as nobody will attack the pet instead of it's owner)
empyrean guardian in Agramon - nothing :(
empyrean elder in Agramon - too high :(
fenrir prophet in Agramon - too high :(

if its to suprise some ppl, try "Immature Octopus" or "Octopus Hatchling" from Irish Sea.

Guess noone has seen this mobs striding through agramon before

(ok, looked them up at allakhazam, so i don't know if they are implemented on uthgard)

Think ill do some tests soon, but i don't think that there will be any good results, due to the fact that the max. lvl of the charmed mob has to be 40.

ty nixian.

jup thats the isalf marauder, see my first post, which i keep up to date ;)

anyways, that pet isnt worth the way, cause it will not stun your enemies...

the one and only useful charmpet I found so far is the pictish druid, which is in Hadrian's Wall, so it takes up to 15 minutes to take it and get back to Agramon

too bad the priestress at templars (hadrians wall at 2 spots) is not implemented correct..

first spot (cear erasleigh T4):
she should buff S/C, D/Q and spec AF as well as acuity (all on blue level)
also she should be able to heal around 150 each heal (4 sec casting duration)
her level should be 35-37
right now she´s doing NOTHING..

second spot (between cear berkstead and berk T3)
shes called templar priestress (50+) and doing strong AE-smite with 150 damage and no heal.

as i said..i am sad about no implemention of her..one of my favourite pets from my life-minstrel..
i miss my Lady....

good question.

You should be able to charm up to lvl36.8, so actually 36. If the mob would be lvl37 it would con blue to you.

According to DAoC Catacombs char planer you even should be able to charm mobs up to lvl 37.72, but i fear that the description of the ability/spell isn't right there.

Hunters Avatar has a max lvl of 41 (82%).

Afaik it should only be 82% for the last hunters pet (avatar) and not for charmed mobs.

=======================================

HUNTER CHANGES

We've decided to make Hunters more effective in Melee combat. These changes will help them greatly in both PvE as well as RvR:

- All Hunter melee skills base damages have been increased "behind the scenes". The specific melee skills involved are sword and spear. Hunters will now notice that they do more damage every time they attack an opponent with these weapon types. Hunters now do more base damage than the other two Archer classes, and will not need to do anything to take advantage of this change - it will happen automatically every time they hit with a weapon.

- Hunters have been given a new line of spells in their Beastcraft specialization that allows them to insta-cast a wolf pet. This can be done at any time, even in combat. These are shouts that cost 25% power and have a 2 minute recast time. Please note that if a Hunter is controlling a charmed pet, they cannot summon a wolf pet. Here's the list:

1 Hunter's Companion 80%
7 Hunter's Pet 80%
13 Hunter's Ally 80%
20 Hunter's Protector 80%
32 Hunter's Avatar 82%

Only the summoned pet, so for charmed mobs max lvl should be 80%

i have successfully charmed a lvl41 rocot in DF, so it's 82% for charmed mobs as well. this was months ago though.
