I had some experiences as SZ Shadowblades in the past.

This time i want to try a new spec. Tell me what you think of it please

-44 cs
-35 Envenom
-35 Stealth
-35 Axe
-29 LA

Got, side stun, evade stun,Perf stun.


50 composite weapon on 5l // 50 evenom on 5l // 50 Stealth 5l

With great weapon speed a can land a 5 hit combo after evade..Looks pretty nice on paper.

Seems to be a great temp, what do you think?

Do you think a spec like this would be better ?

35 Stealth
35 Axe
29 Venom

if you wanna play like the pro SBs on uthgard you need to skip CS and go full LA

that is where the SB shines on Uthgard - not in CS


ps. a 5 style chain after evade you will never ever ever ever get off on any decent tank / stealther on uthgard or any other server due to evade/block/parry/miss

There's no LA sidestun on uthgard.

If you want an after-evade stun, you either need 39 sword or 39 lefty. You dont have an after evade stun in CS spec or in Axe spec.

This is a pre 1.80 server and lvl 4 Cleave and lvl 21 Valkirye's Sheild styles are parry/block reactive styles (not after evade livelike post 1.80). So unless your sb is able to parry/block u need 39 sword/lefty for afterevade stun. And yes there is no sidestun. Axe/sword doesnt matter unless you plan to use those styles. So:

-35 Envenom
-35 Stealth
-21 CS
-39 Lefty
-45 axe/sword

If u prefer PA+CD u can try:

-35 Envenom
-35 Stealth
-34 CS (if u really care about CD)
-39 Lefty
-34 axe/sword

And my fav is:

-35 Envenom
-35 Stealth
-21 CS
-50 Lefty
-30 axe/sword (assuming you raise it each rr respeccing env/stealth)

Some prefere full melee spec and max wepskill, so:

-31 Envenom (raising it from stealth once you raise rr)
-35 Stealth
-10 CS (just backstab)
-39 Lefty
-50 axe/sword (axe most likely for Havoc/Tyr's fury)

It's a matter of taste. So pick one and have fun.

If you will do autotrain for rr5:

My advice if you will use viper3 is:

35 axe/sword
35 envenom
35 CS
35 stealth
39 LA

If you will be mop 4-5 user:

50 LA
21 CS
33 envenom for last st/con debuff poison
35 stealth
35 axe/sword

Or this next:

50 LA
10 CS
33 envenom
35 stealth
39 axe/sword

And you should do respec when you will have new rr.

and just for further notice

When i played , in the past ..

Sb just needed weapon to composite 50,so like 35+15 or 51..

The weaponskill gained by going over this , was'nt really working.Was just usefull to absorbe Ws/Conc debuff...

I have understood that on Uthgard classic server, Left Axe is really strong..


So i ll go for it. I had already two 7l+ Sb with SZ specs on others servers...
Looks like it will be the third one:)

I will go on a Soulbalde Spec , something like this :

44 LA
34 cs
34 stealth
34 Sword
32 Venom

Maybe Full SZ upp to 5l

With 21 cs // 50 LA spec

I have some other questions

Regarding the RA specs on Uthgard..


I thauht going on something like Purge 3 // Viper 2 for 5l5..

Are dots damages powerfull here ? Lifeban +viper 2 should be Great i think.

I always have a 4-5 weapons in bag to apply again damages Dots and some for Ws/Conc debuffs after oponnent purge.


Regarding the equipement on Uthgard, Spell craft armor is made with mix DF Items // Spell craft , im right?

If you see something unavalaible on uthgard, or not so effective on this serv, tell me !

and yes dots are very powerful

but if you ask the pro SBs viper is for noobs and mopain is for pros

but yes viper and poisons are powerful (if not overpowered) on uthgard

pros know that all assassins RR5+ have remedy and therefore dots wont work on them so they focus on mopain, augstr, etc to increase their dmg instead of wasting 30 points on an RA that doesn't always work

Hope i will fight something else than just stealthers

I have seen their isn't a lot higt rank stealthers ..

But good point, remedy users are pain ^^

Can you tell me how remedy works ?

It protect u from all incoming dots effects but dont purge them, right?
