Everytime I load my client (did the mass download from camelotherald.com) I get the error message saying I'm on patch 1.98 instead of 1.95. I open the portal, go to settings, click on EU/english and then patch, but when I open it I still get the same error message to patch down to 1.95.

I looked through the forum earlier and I saw someone post that you should open the patch.dat and it should read something like this:

Mythic Patch
patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/YourLanguageNameHere/labyrinth/mpatch.dat
patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/YourLanguageNameHere/labyrinth/mpatch.dat

It does read that in my file, but as soon as the portal closes it reads this:

[settings]
cmdkey=61129

Anyone know what the problem could be? If you need more information let me know. Thanks in advance.

if downgrading doesnt work try get a fresh copy from the EU site

Try it without DAoCPortal

Open your update.dat

Mythic Patch
patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/english/labyrinth/mpatch.dat
patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/english/labyrinth/mpatch.dat

Then run camelot.exe to patch.

Hint: Sometimes it's necessary to delete your "DAoC\data" folder before!

Do you think it could be the new patcher/mass download thing mythic did? Everytime it updates it still launches version 1.98 when I do it with and without Daoc Portal.

I'm looking for where I can download the patch of 1.95, anyone know where I can get it?

Yes seems to be the new updater which can't downgrade your 1.98.

I think there is no other way than re-download it with the EU settings.

Might be a stupid question, but whats the easiest way to dl it with EU settings? This has me pretty frustrated, so anything to make this easier would be great lol. Thanks for all the help btw.

I dno what u're having all these troubles with, but I'd just download DAoC from the EU site and download the DAoC portal.

Fix the settings on DAoC Portal afterwards and u're done.
