I log on and the game loads just fine. When I choose any realm it goes to another screen that tells me quicklogin can't find my character. I haven't made a character yet and I don't use quicklogin.

Are you sure there are no previous inputs in the quick login field?

Yes. I registered here, verified with email, came back and put in my username and password.

That was helpful. I'll have to try that. I still have the problem though
 It happens after I choose a realm. I can't get to the character creation page and it doesn't seem to have a problem with any of my login info.
I also tried this on another computer that allows them to get on and it did the same thing. Last edited by Hethernes on Jul 28, 2009 16:14, edited 1 time in total.

Delete and re-install DAoC portal, to make sure previous settings are gone. You should always be able to create an account as long as its name is not already taken.
Then try another account name, I'm quite sure it's the problem. <em>When a stupid man is doing something he is ashamed of, he always declares that it is his duty.</em>

This lead to fixing the problem. Thank you very much.
I had logged in using another username after you showed me the other thread. The username had a capital letter in it and the password was the same as the other account. It didn't work. I did both of these things differently making another one and it works just fine now. |
