Can anyone tell me what's best to use for looking up items and where they drop on Uthgard?

Could be cool to get some gear along the way to 50 :wink:

I also want to know this.

What is the best way to get gear in classic? It's ridiculous to buy 85% costly items from vendors, and yet I think it's hard find nice drops isn't it?

If someone has a guide that would be nice. I guess this mostly applies to Meelee folks as healers/casters arguably do not require constantly updated gear to function effectively

Lowbie items ? Uh I don't think anyone can pinpoint you there since there's a lot of levels to choose from. In my opinion it's best that you nag a nearby wc/ac for crafted armor (1st try ofcourse if you just started and low on cash) and level evocation yourself enough so you can spellcraft those. That way you'll never fall too far behind with equipment.

in almost all realms id say check the caves while lvling.. they often has nice drop..

also maybe ask if theres some good OTD around your lvl in /broad or /lfg or /gu

for 50... check some of the templates posted in the crafting section.. that might be a start with some items for you to use

By Cave's do you mean like the different dungeons like Nisse etc?

OTD = One time drop?

Thanks for your help so far

Indeed. :)

For the rest, I suggest you to check Gemma's work here. Along with Allakhazam.com, you'll easily figure the drops you need and where to find them.

DF Gear is really nice for leveling - if you can get your hands on some Emerald Seals.
