Could anyone tell me how the battlegrounds work? Besides the exp bonuses/goals etc. Like the level ranges and the realm rank caps per bg?

Is there not a battleground after thidranki? I mean what do you do after your realm rank out levels thidranki? Im not really interested in doing full group vs full group type of realm vs realm, really just interested in bg's. Is full group rvr the only option after thidranki?

Nope.

4 possibilities:
1) NF;
2) Crafting / farming;
3) Ganking grey in DF;
4) Reroll.
:)

No, it's not the only option, there are solo, duo, etc... But most people will preferably choose full group.

That seems......lame. Really lame, the only possible way its not as lame as it seems is if it takes a significant amount of time, like several months, to rank out of thidranki. What is a realistic time table for that assuming you playing 4 hours or so a day?

WTF, why is it lame? RvR is what makes daoc daoc?

If you want to spam bg's, go to WAR imo 8)

Yes and need to concentrate all people in one rvr zone with low population.

Junia - Bard
Audrina - Ench

Zoe - Sorc
Stella - Pala

If i wanted to play 8v8 structured pvp I'd play WoW. Im here because I still think daoc's rvr is better then wars. Im interested in taking keeps, defending keeps, and bg's. Not this 8v8 stuff. I guess taking keeps/defending them i still an option after outranking thidranki.

Is there a way to choose not to lvl your rank? That probably wouldn't be a good idea because you'd have people geared out to the max. Sigh, oh well.

This is why it saddens me that Uthgard does not have a working /rpoff feature. I'd love to /xpoff and /rpoff a character and leave it in BGs just for some more fun times instead of being forced out of the bg by the caps. Folks like you could do the same thing in order to stick around in Thid indefinitely and defend or take keeps.

There's no such thing in WoW. :P

Indeed, but don't expect much Uthgard players to be fond of this gameplay, for all I know.

Maybe, but as player2 said:

In the case u has rp off the end-game population loose fresh-meat backup in agramon :P Anyway i liked too the old bg system when i could stay for a while in a bg, and doesn't needed to rise some toon again and again if i want some bg-play (witch is sometimes give lots more fun then Agra atm)

Kikoo@ Yes, wow only has 2v2, 3v3, 8v8 (or the bg's witch are fixVsfix like 15v15 and the max is 40v40 afaik) But that wasn't the point :)
