He didn't watch his target for like .5 seconds. The purge visual effect lasts longer than that. Yes, you do write a lot of nonsense. |

i download the video to have the timer and show that you are wrong ( i love it)
the stun is done a bit before 5 sec and finish around 18/19 sec ... if i am right that makes 13 sec... if your report is cause slam last to long i am oki ![]() for the purge visiual effect... the target leaves screen at 8 sec and comes back at 10 secs behind a tree ( that s a bit difficult to check a visiual effect when you can't see the target...) so if you wanna argue again try to find another explanation to the video that the one i gave to you. and if you don't wanna go on... maybe it'll be easier for you to do tests and explain the bug... so maybe we can start to find a way to fix it. <img src="http://www.fallenearth.fr/daoc/daoc2.php?player=Panachou">

edit slam started at 0:03 (+half a second) and he started moving again at 0:13. That is 9.5-10 seconds, count reaction time in there and there you go, 9 second slam duration +reaction time of 0.5-1 sec. edit try pausing to look at the timer exactly when slam started and exatcly when the person started moving again. it's a kind of magic. two sentences removed and it's no flame anymore H-Man The world will look up and shout "Save us!"...and I'll whisper "NO U."

I can confirm this "behaviour". It happens yesterday again.
|

Yesterday the same happened with me. I was slamed but i still hitting and moveing.

Then it's not a slam only rare issue I'm afraid. Few month back I was in thid with a healer friend and once he stunned a hib (warden or druid I can't recall really but it's not important). Thing is the stun landed fine, there was no resist/unaffected visual effect and we both stood there wondering wtf just happened as he just kept on running. There was no resist message in the combat log either.
Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.

Hmm how bout stun immunity ? (Just throwing in a bone here)

It has the same visual effect as resist AND a nice long message saying "Your target can't have this effect again".

wonder what happens when the same player keeps using this stunbug for his advantage...

Nothing much, it's a feature, not a bug. ![]() |

This feels like were examining it like the Kennedy assassination.
"In frame 121 at :13"... ![]() |

i see that all the time from certain players.
i used to think my lagspikes where at fault, but since i changed TTF to bitmap those are gone and its still happening. before that with the lag spikes - i stun and with my next hit, they are somewehre else, out of stick range. someone runs past me, i land my sidestun, stick and try to finish the chain. i swing again and it say you failed to execute winterblade perfectly. target is not in range. i do face to see where he went to and he stands 700 units away. of course, by the time i realize hes gone, faced him again and start casting the stun is over and he starts casting himself - usualy hitting before i do. now, without the constant lagspikes, the just keep running and jumping around, even if the system says that the stun was a success. just like the vid. a bit lame, to say the least. and no, its not every time. doesnt depend on serverload either. i can stun ppl perfectly fine during primetime with my torrents in the background using up 80% down and upstream - and i cant stun some ppl while my torrents are down and the server is practicly empty. |
