Defense Rates Different on Uthgard Compared to Live?

I was told that the defense rates in RvR are different on Uthgard than they are on live servers. So does that mean someone with 42+11 Shield, and 250 Dex will block less on Uthgard than someone with the same exact stats on live servers? Or was I told completely wrong?

you are correct |

Nixian is right, but we are currently working on that issue. Just needs some time, because we want an accurate block-formula.

Believe me the block formula is a beast. Nayru currently tests the hell out of it. 3000 swings per test. You can imagine how painful that can be. There are multiple illogical facts. But we are used to it.
We hope to have a working original formula for block, parry, evade soon. It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.
Every bug gets fixed. Sooner or later. "It is an inescapable law of nature that the amount of satisfaction one gains from achieving something is related to how hard it is and easy things can only elicit a fleeting superficial sort of pleasure." Thanks for your hard work! I have 50 +12 in shield and i block like once out of every 15 shots in RvR. More in PvE or so it seems. Maybe ill actually block something soon. ![]() |

i heard a rumor that 1 of your mathematics brainiac came up with nice forumla @ page 18 or so
![]() I cant emagin 24/7 to read a log and think hmm... that must be this formula example - - - > 231/54%123´*123412-231[123+123/2(123*23)] etc = block rate ![]() |

That's the price you have to pay to reach correct values, Ati.
