I have a Nightshade lvl 26 (Cimice), i have the ability climb walls but i cant climb any wall....

Have anyone of you the same problem? I think it is caused by the patcher or something

are you sure you are using the right spot? You have to find little rocks on the side of wall only there you can climb it

what's the language of your game ?

Try the english version, same bug is known in the german client.

You can add the French client to that list ^^.

so your legs are not compatible with english walls?

-Language: If you have german version you can easily select "english" in the "Settings" of DAoCPortal and then run "Patch!" to get the english version of the game. (to prevent climb wall bug, answer sends with "r" and have a english crafting list)

That's a problem with the packets sent between server and client. You can see the same problem when trying to reply to a message (e.g. pressing "r"). The clients expect a message in their language and trigger on e.g. "<name> sends". This message is sent by the server in English, therefore your client doesn't get the message it needs to reply. It's the same for climbing.

i noticed now that i am using the english version.

The daoc portal settings are:

EU VERSION

expansion darkness rising

language english

...............................


I cant climb walls with these settings

am i doing anything wrong?

is there any file of the daoc folder you can give me to climb walls?
