Getting these patronizing comments from people who I rarely or never see in RvR annoys me. Same goes for criticising the staff for undoing their change. Whine resistance? Come on, did they back down when they cut BPs in half or changed the buff charge value or even when they massively increased the price of recharge stones because of the whining?
There's always gonna be whining about almost every change because having this forum enables people to interact with the staff so inevitably this comes with some complaining. Surely with 4 years of experience of running this server they can judge for themselves what they consider valid reasons for complaining.

I can't agree with your proposals either. Camping milegates? This would work for stealthers and soloers but the majority of RvR action is still 8v8 fights and it wouldn't benefit from this static and boring situation at all.

Your idea to focus action in Agramon is nice but it's striving for the same effect as what camps do. Does having to run for 3 more minutes from DC/Beno/Bled really make that big a difference?

You are blaming the players for a lack of initiative, acting like spoiled brats and downright stupidity. So either these dozens of players are indeed imbeciles or the RvR situation actually is flawed? Well, well...

I'm not saying this port system is perfect and neither does the staff apparently as it's only temporarily! Just hold out untill their next change just like other players had to hold out for other stuff in the past.

to be honest i personally dont care if i teleport into the fight at bled or the milegate. to me its not a huge difference. the problem in my opinion is making a huge zone like NF rewarding enough for a small community to want to play in. i propose a larger bonus for the group missions, make it worth going and doing them. if you give people a reason to go there, they will go. putting master heroes which 1 - 2 shot kill a max level max rank player in the rvr zone is counter productive. instead of giving an incentive to fight in agramon, you give people an extremely good reason to not use this zone at all. i appreciate all the staff does, but please reconsider this particular realm guard as it is going to hurt or kill this server.

you know the prediction, that if something eliminated bees from our planet, mankind would perish within 4 years ?
bees = solos / duos / trios
mankind = your zerg :P
figure out the rest.

And next reduce recharge stone price XDDD.

In my opinion camps should be removed again when we will have 200 players in frontiers or more. This rvr zone is very big for 30-50 players that we have in frontiers every days.

But 200, what i said? Half of players here prefer play in braemar :? Better dont remove camps again. :D

I applaud the staff for this wise decision!

It takes a certain greatness to take a step like that.

And i applaud expressively due to the fact, that this situation with porters will be only temporarily.
I have much confidence, that you will come up with something, that will be marvellous to play.

It is never the participants in a system, that behave wrongly, as they behave as the system encourages them to behave. They just behave.

If you enjoy milegate camping, then do so.

If you dont enjoy milegate adders and prefer the non camp rvr 8v8 fgs running around 1-2 hours between each inc in totally empty frontiers, Then avoid the camps/milegates.

RvR concentrated about running around 2 hours in empty frontiers is no rvr at all.

I agree with Maidrions post. People complaining about the reinstallation of the Agramon port (IN A DIFFERENT LOCATION) while they haven't even been playing seriously in the setting before this recent change is just whining for the sake of it if you ask me. I'm sure that if you would have TRIED to RvR decently in the past, you would actually applaud the staff for admitting the current system is not working for the current RvR population.

In fact this is one of the best changes so far, since it will not only blow a new breeze into the RvR, it'll also prevent players from going to other freeshards and in return the action on Uthgard even more. A 'swift' (but temporary) fix for the current situation was what Uthgards RvR needed most to prevent the increasing downhill curve.

Oh and by the way, you now port to the towers instead of the camps which is a thousand times better than the camps, but of course you haven't even seen that yet, you just assume it was the same old port. And you know what they say about assuming things...

Some of us have been playing rvr normally, using our normal routines. I can say it certainly isnt my fault that people didnt have the common sense (apparently not so common) to have also continued with their normal routine, and thus have found or instigated action in the zone.

There really isnt anything else for me to say on the matter than what has been said already. I'm just going to sit back and wait and see what happens. My own opinion is that its just going to return to what happened before and in a few weeks time (at the most) we will be seeing the same people complaining about "adding groups, leeching stealthers, kiting to guards" etc etc.
