Thanks guys for those informations.

I could sense that this topic is very hot within this forum (always transpire in other threads), and it's not surprising that some people get to defend their classes (it's role play, eh).

Mana pool is a real problem IMO. In Midgard, leveling groups are clearly displaying their preference between melee and caster damage dealers, and one could hardly blame them, considering that a caster will spend a lot of time sitting on his ass while melee DDers chain the mobs with no much fatigue. RvR groups will eventually invite a caster to fulfill a last slot.

Casting speed is the tricky part. We all know that the boundary between an useless and OP caster is a thin line. Another problem is that not all casters work the same way. Casting speed does not have the same impact over a runemaster compared to a bonedancer for instance.

I do play a dark runemaster, and I would summarize this class in this simple sentence:
Kill fast, or die fast.

For now, only the last part of this sentence is true. :(
