Important RvR Setup Change

I was there tonight, on mid defending nottmoor. While it was fun, it was absurd against standard common sense fro each version of daoc.
NO version of daoc EVER did let any realm instantly defend anything.
With this port to stealthkeeps (which is a nice idea, which came very late, which could have been optimized and blahblahblah), if a realm is lucky you can basically step on pad an insta port to defend the stealthkeeps en-masse.

This means that it is pointless to try and attack any of those with rams, cause it takes so much time to open doors that defenders will already be outnumbering you whenever you drop down the first door.

Just like it was in the new frontier AND in the OLD FRONTIER with the summoner, you shouldn't be able to port if the keep is under siege (which means that door or guards or lord are under attack).

AND as someone already had you notice, it should be much more interesting and reasonable, having a port in a keep which is not ninjable in a duo or a trio, rupting the chance to port to the realm in less than 2 minutes, not even having the chance to answer to the attack.

I would prefer a frontier centered teleport, to be able to reach efficiently ANY location, but not optimized at going instantly at the milegates. I know i'm talking as a mid here, but still it should be an improvement to HIBS trying to reach emain too.
I would advise: Blendrake, Sursbrooke, Bolg.

And another thing i would like to be instantly changed (because of a failure in looking at what may happen) is teleporting at the LORD ROOM.
Why? I'm ready to bet that the new RP farming procedure will be opening doors or using stealthers to 'alert' the realm by attacking a guard. Someone goes to check, he teleports, and gets a PERFORATE ARTERY IN DA FACE.
Free rps.

Come on! Common sense. Think before implementing something so quickly just because Origins is ready around the corner.
You want to protect your playerbase? Ok. You want to give out something with a delay of only 2 years? Ok. You want to get some longtime lost credibility? Ok. But do that reasonably.

That you are ported onto one point is a bug and will be fixed today. It's not intended. We will also give the immunity for freshly ported players.

The main purpose of this change is to address the main complaint that it takes to long to get to action. It will be further watched how it works out and modification will take place as needed.

if you give immunity then you have to give immunities to players porting to normal TK too, there are many ppl camping portal keeps...
i dont think an immunity is a good way, camping TKs was always part of the game!
also there has to be a porting stop when the keep is attacked otherwise those keeps wont be raidable...

but theres no way to stand directly infront of the Porting position in ATK/MTK and just f8 pa the freshly portet player ;)

No PA, but mids are easily ranger/scout-volleyable and warden/reaver-TWFable.

Well good. But it will mostly benefit Hibs since the action is in Emain.
Emain and milegates, thats a huge problem. Make a new Agramon out of Odins, HW and Emain. Then this porting would make more sense.

And ofc, remove the damn milegates.

I know. But I didnt say you should do Agramon. I said make 3 RvR-zones into 1. And remove them milegates.

Just a suggestion. Nothing else.

as many said....plz look into it, sleep over do whatever...

but: dont base teleportingsystem on stealthable keeps, choose centered keeps as suggested and everybody is happy. in fact its not that easy to defend oldfrontierkeeps, and theres huge differences between the three keepmodels also, but defending stealtherkeep? nearly impossible
