What are those 2 diferent absorbs?

I fought a player and how u can see i got mesage about 2 diferent absorbs.
Maybe some1 can help me clear it out. ![]() |

The first one seems to be a Ablative-charge/proc since it's
50% of the damage you dealt. The second one is strange, it halves the remaining dmg again as if there is a second ablative buff. |

well it seems like the second is 25% absorbed, and its a rangers, so i know its not a ranger ablitiy. Im not sure what it would be, unless its possible to stack Ablitives of diff types. Unless is a bonus he got from someone else, if he was in a grp.

I dont know what Melee health buffer it was, but its not ok, any melee health buffer, even if its valewalker's RR5 should overwritten the other ones beeing better. If u look at the dmg i dealt, those melee health bufers absorbed almost 75% of my dmg and that is not ok. And funny thing how it says " Nydaen absorbs ...." i mean there is no special rr5 for rangers that would include any melee dmg absorb, only a gamemaster could tell us what could mean, because i am not so used with many of the Uthgard's display , sorc rr5 ,champ rr5 here are displayed diferent then on live servers dunno why.
For example if u hit a sorc on oficial that has rr5 up you should hit for 15 dmg instead of 150 , simple. While here on uthgard u hit for 150 and u get afterwards a message how 135 dmg was absorbed, completely diferent . Bof can't be cause the dmg u make its reduced corectly.. i m waiting for other opinions. |

When you have a charg ablative up while casting rr5 VW the rr5 should overwrite the other ablative. They shouldn't stack.

I see you tried to perform a comeback. Was it successful? ![]() ALso this problem m8 exists on the Berserker too. He also got a RR5 Buff which is kind of that. Maybe anyone else can help out here? |

you don´t get any note in chat with Berserk RR5 saying abosrb x dmg, you don´t get any message at all. But I can only tell from my view, never hit a Berserk with rr5 up

I know that he was with you in grp, thats why i asumed it should be Wv rr5, and that it's not working as intended. If indeed Valew rr5 stacks with normal ablatives then its a bug, because it provides to the hibernian realm somewhere below 75% absrom melee dmg (50% abs then 50% abs from what remains its not exactly 75%) if Vw uses his rr5 and other players got their own albatives. It is not a vw nerf, his rr5 is indeed good because if i remember well it is an albtive of 50% abs with 500 hitpoints , and will remain the same,just that should not stack with other ablatives, it should overrid em. Vale Defense Type: Active Re-use: 10 min. Description: Free to Valewalker at RR5. Gives the group a 500 point 50% ablative that lasts for 10 minutes or until depleted.
I always try to perform a comeback style m8ty, and u can see the atacker hited me, so no i havent:P . Berseker rr5 is indeed good, but has nothing to do with the melee health bufers, it works like Bof does. And to answer to both u and Murax, here on uthgard beeing pre 1.80 patch IT SUX! , because it has to tick every 5 seconds starting from 5 %and adding 5% absorb dmg up to a total of 25% , after it disapears, lasts 30s. In patch 1.80+ berseker rr5 is an 25% flat absorb, wich means it gives 25% abs for the whole 30 s duration. I need a moderator to move this thread to Bug section plz. |

It's 300hp.
And what should happen if you get an ablative proc while the RR5 is still active ? I'm not sure it's not meant to stack in this case. I am assuming direct control.

The characteristics of the ra are taken from allakhazam forum, i gues they have been improved with new patches. It is 500 hp on live now, if u dont believe me go search the patches, i cba, the values dont interest me as already know that VW is the best MHB ingame. Like any other spell of higher rank if u got vw rr5 up and some1 hits a part of your armour and mhb kiks in you should get a message like this" You already have that efect" . If u already fought some1 and u have a normal MHB of 100 points , and Then u grp a Vw ..or u are a Vw and u make rr5 it should cancel the old one and the new one , wich is better should remain. |

Hm. But, for example, when I start ablative chant on my minstrel WHILE already having ablative proc from equipment I get the "you already have that effect message", and my chant doesn't overwrite the equipment proc. So is that a bug too then or what? O.o

Yes, that came later. 300 is correct for our patchlevel. |

Your equipment's MHB is 100 points 50% abs, i m not sure what value has your chant MHB i ll have to take a look, but if i remember well minstrel max ablative is 70 points and 50% abs, so your class MHB is weaker then the abla on your armours because it has a lower value. The message you get is corect On the other hand, if u are using ur own mhb as minstrel, and some1 hits your torso , the 100 pts MHb should enter >remain and cancel the minstrel one until it is depleted . |

The thing is, I don't think it does, at least I haven't noticed it yet.
