sorry, not sure about spelling, but...what makes german-style different from anything else?
I really want to know, because german-style is my favorite and i have no idea why....

I only know "our" Sauerkraut. It tastes sour....<shroug>.
What other styles are known?

ok, i didn't google this, cause i don't want a bot telling me whats real...but

we by ours made in germany..3 ingredients...cabbage, salt, water.

I looked at a different jar, it had preservative chemicals in it

Is it possible that germany has laws regarding the ingredients of saurkraut, like the beer laws?
