Hi im having a weird problem, if i tab the game for some minute or more than 3 time i got disconnected and cant even close the game for some minute :\ Any suggestion ? never had this problem before.
Windows 10 latest version on amd ryzen platform whit an nvidia graphic card
Ofc is not a line problem im on fiber and cecked

Not sure, but it could be the game is put into some "sleep" state when you alt tap out and becomes unresponsive for the server.

I have also recently had this issue, been playing on/off over a long while, so not completely sure if it has to do with Windows 10 updates?

My PC is not new, its a good old i7-4790/GTX970 machine.

But I have the same issue, alt-tabbing out can result in a connection lost / LD. I have not counted if its always on the 3rd count, it seem more to me it happens if I alt-tab "too fast" multiply times.

dont think is windows 10 related, i did some test whit my laptop also having latest windows 10 and all updated and the problem didnt exist. To be 100% i moved the game from a pc to the other one so same file etc

Its a bit frustrating especially when i need to crash and tab to look material etc

I was lucky enough to notice it in the settings. My game crashed on alt-tab which is absurd. Just go into options (on the char selection screen) and you can set Sleep mode to "Never"

Same issue exactly.

I ran Win XP up until earlier this year, could alt tab anytime no LD or fear of LD. Fast easy alt tab out of game or back into it.

Upgraded to Win 10 Home and since then, go LD least once a day (sometimes more) alt tabbing. Seems can happen alt tabiing "from" the game or back "to" the game.

Definitely sounds like a Windows issue or some graphics/driver issue? Also noteworthy is alt tabbing from or to the game seems to take longer, like over 1 sec while with Win XP it was instantaneous.

Ya Win XP was the best, I have it running on a partition for older games that Win 7+ won't run.

I never saw this option, so for almost 2 decades that was not needed I will see if it helps.

I managed to get past it - enable windowed mode in the settings in char selection menu (it says it might not work on some systems but it did the trick for me)

On me no i forgot to mention i also in window mode now and still happening. Can confirm it happen when tab multiple time fast

I can still go linkdead on minimizing game, after switching to sleep mode "never"
