Hello guys,

I have been playing Paladin for a looooooong time in DAOC and I loved it. But i like Thane too.
My question is : do you think I should play again Paladin or go to Thane ? (I had a level 50 Thane too). Albion seems more populated than Mid, maybe it will be more fun to play with guys ?
My aim is to do RVR, what class will be more grouped ?

Thanks and see ya :) (i'm french, if you know a french guild :) )

Mid needs more help at the moment. I suggest you go Thane.

Looking at /realm and /relic, Albion has enough players and need someone to beat us into submission :)
Uthgard 2.0 auto-bestiary Zones, maps, monsters, locations, items, drop rates and statistics.
DAoC game mechanics information templates, realm ranks, spell dmg type, melee speed, blocking, exp/group calculation
Alb <M Y T H>: Citybilens, 50 Minstrel, Muchthinarms, 49 Paladin & Boltsarebroken, 48 Wizard
Hib: April, 50 Eldritch
Mid <Myth>: Direktoeren, 50 Shaman, Flammespyd, 50 Runemaster & Skambankeren, 50 Berzerker

also Tesla coil and high voltage is my hobby

Make characters on both (or better yet all three). It is much easier to switch realms now, so just play where you are having the most fun. If in doubt, go with whoever is the underdog at the moment. Just be loyal to the side you are playing when you are playing it.

back in daoc maybe yes, but only if uthgard do some changes... Uthgard 1.0 was the best free server imho.
They do too many changes thinking would be appreciated from the players, but it's not the true... and all can see what happen... uth 1.0 was 300 players online.. new uth.... 30/50 players online ?

Unless population returns to over 100 at a minimum don't waste your time.

Also with over 100 it's useless to play here. Uthgard would need many more especially with a slow pace game style.
GMs decided to let uthgard bleed out anyway.

The only way to grow population is to play.

So play, instead of whining, the more that play, the more will come back.

Uthgard, other server, 3rd server, whatever setting, it is daoc as we knew it from our "childhoods", its tough and heart breaking.
Uthgard 2.0 auto-bestiary Zones, maps, monsters, locations, items, drop rates and statistics.

I mean 100 has the be the low number, when it's not peek time of day. Instead of what it gets down to now ( around 13 at the low point ) there needs to be at least 100 people online at all times, 200+ at regular hours, and 300+ at peek.

Good luck convincing 150+ people to come back. Uth staff had their chance and blew it. It really is a shame how much work has been put into a server that was killed by the people who created it.
