How to

Well, there's no shiny Setup yet... (someone?^^), but i guess you guys know how to copy&paste files, so...

1.) Backup & delete or rename your "\yourDAoCinstallpath\ui\custom" folder.

2.) Check the "choose_your_windows" folder for all kinds of different window-styles and choose your favorite. Preview images can be found in a folder called "___preview_images" !

3.) Copy your favorite windows (.xml-Files AND folders, if any) to \custom, overwrite existing file.

3.) When you are done with picking your windows, copy the \custom folder to your \yourDAoCinstallpath\ui folder.

4.) Launch Dark Age of Camelot.

5.) From the Char selection screen, select OPTIONS and then change the UserInterface to CUSTOM.

6.) Gimme feedback and user screenshots please ;)

Good work Derida; one minor thing to note is that you can't see group member endu usage, so there is no need to take up the UI element real estate with the unused endu adaptor.

now if it were possible to create an inventory screen separate from the ragdoll image and resizable quickbars and icons...

wow! extremely impressive.

I am jealous of people that know how to do this stuff, it is very cool.

Thank you, Derida, for taking the time to make this stuff. It is greatly appreciated.

Does it add that watermark at the top left?

adding that watermark would be easily doable :)

just use one of the custom elements and add the static image; you can then just have it appear as you like and could drag it around wherever.

you were probably being sarcastic, but thought i'd answer anyway :)

Could some forum admin please make this thread sticky like Amolin's Unofficial Uthgard SI UI BETA v1.0?

Thanks! :)

Hey derida, using your (old) UI since uthgard 2.0 and i really like it.

Was wondering if you would be up for adding 2 things i loved about my former favorite, OchUI which i really miss in any of the most common UIs:

First being emericol (? I believe) icons up for use combined with a very minimalistic spell bar.

The other one being a 4x2 healers helper that i really never got to see in any other UI.

I ll add a video where one can see what im talking about ;)

Would be great to see!

Heya,
well ye, different Healer's Helper styles etc. are work in process atm. stay tuned ;)
I could work on some more Quickbar styles ofc, will see.

For now you could just copy whatever quickbar-files/style you like the most from another UI into the \oldstyle folder.
The files are called: "hbar_horz.bmp", "hbar_vert.bmp" and "hbar_min.bmp".
