Hey guys, This is my first video I made portraying Beasty The Uthgard Gimped BattleDruid. We know that Uthgard (as awsome as it is to be able to play DAOC) does have its bugs, for example the Bug where pets can't use buffs, or assasin's Perf doing more dmg then it should, or Viper3 ( really OP for playing with peeps that can't overcap hp) regardless I wanted to play.

As for me being a BattleDruid, BattleDruid is my favorite toon even when I played LIVE, bad thing about battledruid is that not only are there bugs that make it harder but also MOST people are very Elitist, and don't want anything to do with a BattleDruid. So I guess that I just have to adapt to this new playstlye.

I'd like to clear it up a bit, This is my first video and I wasnt going to go out and buy a expensive camera, So i used the free version of Gamecam so the resolution is not very good. Also I had to record in 45 second time frames and stich them together....

Was a nice Story, fights were nice.


Only thing is the Quality, I wasn´t really able to see anything
Maybe try to make the Quality a bit better next time!

Battle druids rock!!!

I enjoyed all 13 minutes of your video- good job.
Because its: new.. and entertaining.
It reminds me on the time when i startet Cave shaman here 2 Years ago with rr5-6 or so.. "nuub", "gimp spec", "ololol" ect.

Play the way you want, i think a battle druid can solo alot if played well. Dunno about all Druid/pet abilitys, but i guess with good kite, important RAs like Purge and Wild Power (your dots can crit up to 100% not only 50%), the incomming Mob Dmg fix from Blue, a Battle Druid is really interesting.

Some tips for editing: As you say, your quality really suxx. There is no other way to use a Fraps Full version.
With this rough material you can do what you want and compress to a decent quality.

The normal steps for rendering a video:

1. Fraps
2. Editing (any editing programm where you can edit your video and render out with a lossless codec) Sony vegas, Adobe premier are good programms where you can learn the basics of editing. Use Sony vegas Movie Studio, or Adobe Premiere Elements. You can download this programms 30 days for free. Movie Studio/Elements are the 2 little Brothers from the professional Programms from Sony and Adobe.. You dont need more. You can use any other Programm (Ramboz for example works with Cyberlink Power Director), so its up to you

3. Compressing (VirtualDub). Follow the instructions in the link above.

As i sayd, i enjoy your video more than some other boring Videos which are postet the last weeks here, coz this is stuff we rarely see. keep up the good work, dont listen to the haters, increase your editing skills. Cant wait meet you with my shaman, and cant wait for your next Video.
