The server-side settings may be 1.65-like, the client and thus the UI will still be the current (or close to current) version. So any current UI will work. If you want a more antique feel, you'll have to set up your UI in a way that resembles the classic UI. I think custom UIs can be set up so they look fairly oldschool.

Bob's UI or Ghost UI are my favorites. Or you could use Pyth UI which is pretty much a combination of those.

I been on Genesis the last 2 days and Bobs UI is messing up a ton. Can't get trainers to open their training interface up, Quest npc's are doing the same. Some how it's screwed up the /assist command also

Ok tried another version of Bob's UI. It works for the Genesis server so I'm assuming it will work for Uthgard (crosses fingers). Pick the one that says " Current Version for Game Client v1.110:". http://bobsui.koamon.com/downloads.html

I have built a true to 1.65 UI from scratch, the one in Bob's UI is highly inaccurate, I will be releasing it soon, I have been trying to attempt to get Uthgard to adopt it as the default UI, but links are disabled for me, maybe because I haven't posted enough.. sucks for those of us who don't spam and are hardcore fans!

Anyway, its about 99% accurate, i took some liberties with the player's summary window to display percentages but aside from that I've tried to keep as true to the DAoC build as possible.

Here's a sample shot (replace all dashes "-" with decimals/periods ".")

Pretty neat. To bad you can't get that old chat window tabbed look.
I would use if I could have the target name/bar un-attached from the player's summery window.
