I lost my house and build a new one. so where do i get my stuff back ?

Any help on this regard? Somehow I cannot find my Items I had in my consignment merchant. Do I need to go to the Mainmarket with the character that owned the house before?

only the character/s with rights can access the house bankers NPCs to recover the items.
