Wonder what you folks think the easiest/fastest classes/specs to lvl are . Solo since population can vary depending on your time to play..

Easiest probably warden. Extremely slow paced though.

Valewalker could be fast but somewhat gear dependent.

Animist doesn't need gear but uses a lot of power.

Enchanter doesn't need gear and uses a little less power. Also very easy to build a group as enchanter.

Some food for thought.

Nature druid was easy to solo, there's no down time if you take mcl 1 and you can chain oranges

The easiest class to rich lvl 50 is perhabs a necro - dont care about power, dont worry about endu, very good to solo, very easy to find a group for PvE.
Yes, its other realm, but, if you have not as much time, I would play Albion.
Albs are easer to level then each class in each other realm - better lvl spots, more spots, plenty of at-classes, more training points for some classes, more classes which dont care as much about power/endu - necro, sorc, pala. And still group valuble.
Cabba in every spec can nuke till out of power and renew it just in seconds. Or make a petpulls. Or dot-and-run-pulls.
Theurg kills solo oras easy to low power cost. And all of them can get pve and rvr (except necro) group.

Off tank and main tank are better armored then tanks in other realms, so, can better solo then tanks in other realms. And... and... and.
So, realy, for somebody who has not as plenty of time is Albion - an easy raider realm!

1. Enchanter Light or Enchantment up until 20. Playstyle is pretty much the same, DD enough to keep aggro and let the level 7 Pet do the rest of the work, its not exactly gear dependant, but I would atleast to to keep INT at your respective cap.

Light obviously makes that playstyle more mana efficient but enchantment makes you quite valuable in group play atleast in the early level range when you run with lots of unoptimized melees. (A worthless bunch otherwise :D)

One thing to keep in mind is to have enough space to work and mobs that are weak to heat based nukes or on a low health pool.

Very useful route for this:

1-5...
5-7 Kill tasks
7-8 Solo Lunantishees (ora-red low hp) They are found before Mardagh and up to TnmBeo
8-10 Solo/Groups Lunantishees (New spec dd on light lets you two hit most of them, if you hit)
10-12 Kill tasks at the Tower to Bri Leith (You can stay here longer if you want, but respawn might become an issue with the little walking you have to do)
12-16 Grass Sherries - Cliffs of Moher (They spawn in a circle next to the Tower at the entrance)
16-20 Dew Sherries - Lough Gur (They have a massive camp around Innis Carthaig).

If you still want to go solo at this point I would stick to Light, the value of pure enchantment drops quite a bit at this point, if you hope to make groups with it.

21-22 Not so sure myself, Dew+Mist Sherries in East Lough Derg (Around the Pier and the Giant forest around it) might do the trick, if you run out of targets you can kill the Wolfs in that area aswell.

At this point I would relocate to the FZ.

23-25 Grey Spectres left of DL entrance across the mountain. They are quite a massive exp boost at that point. You can try dealing with them at 22 aswell if you have the most recent spec nuke. Ignore the Giant Ants next to it, they are worthless without grp bonus, the spectres spawn quite fast.

26-32 Gorge Rats - also Cruachan Gorge, left at the Sea.

32-34 Curmodgeons/Gorge Rats - all around the same Sea.

35-38 Cruachan Imps - Either on the hill behind the sea or all across the forest leading away from Dun Ailinne.

39-44 Irewood Greenbarks - Also at the forest leading away from Dun Ailinne. They provide a massive exp boost again. (Works with Light and Enchantment, although the second one requires a lot of running around :P)

With what Spec you continue at 40 is really up to you. Light vs yellow/orange and a mix of mana/ench against green/blue (Try to atleast get the first defensive proc in the enchantment line) yields roughly the same exp. The hybrid spec makes you valuable for most group activites aslong as you have atleast 32Mana in your spec. (Leading up to 32mana/43ench) But you are quite useless in pvp.

2. Light Menta

You can basically run the route above. Its quite useful to put atleast 4 points in mana before 20 and delay the spec dd for one level. The difference in downtime makes up for it. At 20 I would take them out and run pom pots instead. After you have the 35 spec dd you can reinvest into mana and get pom2 at 38 and then respecc to your final build at 40.
If you intend to level with the Mana specc lw1 might be quite a nice thing to have.

The aformentioned route may not work that well for the runner ups.

3. Ranger (Gear dependant)

Despite autotraining bow its still your main dmg tool, being able to switch between three dmg types frees you up a lot on your route. I would put all your points into PF/Dagger (Switching whats in the lead depending on what is more pressing at the time)
And adding some CD to the mix once you have the 25 Piercing style.

4 Valewalker (Gear dependant)

Spend your Endurance > Spend your Mana > Repeat. There is only really one spec that works for VW, so not much variance to be had here.

5 Warden (Gear dependant)

Slow and steady, as with the enchantment spec, you are quite valuable for early group play. Unlike the enchantmentspec this keeps getting acknowledged past level 20 though, despite you hitting like a wet sponge no matter what you do.
Since you want fatigue reduction (level 12 healing) rather quickly, you can fulfill a lot of roles during leveling pugs, so despite not being many groups forming at your playtime, you may just fit in.

So Enchanter = 1st... PP and ez to get groups..
2nd = Bard (needed any basically every group and very easy to make groups).
3rd = mentalist -- any caster grps will always need 1-2 ments for HOT and POM
4th = warden -- I have a 50 ward that i got lvled very fast.. I made MDPS grps very easily... but i put him fourth because the rate of soloing on these are very slow.
5th = Animist -- Now.. most would think Ani would be in the top 3... I would say no because of the danger of dying while soloin. If you aren't on top of your game while soloing you WILL die.. and most groups would rather have a eldy or chanter AoE then ani AoE.

From Turt and Drturt - 50 ani and 50 ward.

Thanks

As turt said animist while fun take more skill to play because of broken spells and the fact you won't get a group unless your spec for arboreal.

I would suggest a Enchanter you get a pet to focus pull with and bomb or spec light and nuke after pet has agro. Both pf those specs allow you to join groups as well. Enchantment spec is slow and steady just like a warden.

I still say play the class you want to play at 50 if not its s waste of time and you will get burned out fast.
