Needed classe?

Hello just moved to Hib and i want to know what is more needed currently in 8man group eldritch or enchanter ?

Chanter is overall more popular due to being better at leveling.
Eld is more group friendly as they fit in both melee and caster setups. So probably Eldritch. Billiken - Warden

People look for casters in RvR all the time, but really depends on the day, which class is lacked the most. Id say enchanter is more looked after then eldritch. Also people look for mentalists very often.
BM/Hero? Not really. I think these classes are LFG the most often. Haven't really seen much LFM about melees, rather it happens about casters or a druid/bard. |

Make sure you factor in the time you usually play. From what I've seen and heard, different times of day might have very different classes that are lacking. So I'd say run out to Ligen and check for yourself sometime.

play druid... or bard. there are bards but groups run 2 sometimes. I have bard and get groups pretty easy. Eld... is kinda tough actually. there are a lot of eldritches and usually just one spot for them. Believe it or not caster groups are always looking for mana enchanters. so if you think you can ma and kick ass. be a chanter.

Also debating swapping over to Hib. How is the NA population, what classes are needed, and how is the market economy on temp items?
edit: actually scratch that, don't want to xp grind again. I'll just stay where I'm at for now and see how the server fairs a while longer |

I would suggest playing what you actually wish to play. Then once you start getting some levels if you have a problem or just hate the class switch over to something else.
Nothing is really needed because everyone has several alts at this point and people just mix and match what they need in order to fill groups. I always seem to have a lack of druids / bards yet it shows I have about 30 of each go figure. - Syska Animist

Thanks for the response! Perhaps during a future xp event or if the xp rate is increased I'll hop on over. I do enjoy most classes on Hib other than Champ/Hero. I have noticed you guys rarely run with many melee classes in your zergs or even 8mans. I think I've only seen a handful of Heros and Blademasters

You will msinly only see het is and blademasters because they are the only tanks that get det.
On the flip side champs and valewalkers have more utility to float in groups and cause chaos. So unless you always land mez first or have purge up you are toast. - Syska Animist
