Hi,

<Envy> is an RVR focused guild without the elitist attitude. A bit of history about us:

We come from Alb Pellinor and were very present in the 8v8 scene there, continued on through the cluster as <Epic> and <Envy> and then moved to Hib Lamorak as a bomb group, <Infamous>. We're mostly US players at this point scattered across the country, but we're happy to grow from all parts of the globe. We've taken our share of breaks, but also have an embarrassingly high amount of playtime between us.


What you'll get out of joining <Envy>:
A friendly, organized, focused group of good communicators with a high level of understanding of DAoC in all facets.

Invitations to our private Discord channel where we chat, share templates, and store an archive of useful game-related information - also hilarious gifs.

Material pricing on crafting - we have a tailor, armor crafter, and weapon crafter all skilling up quite quickly. Would love to add the rest of the trades to our group.

The chance to play with a group of RVR focused folks with a sense of sportsmanship. We don't add on fights (even if we've been added on.) We are minimally involved in keep takes - except for the possible relic raid here and there. 8v8 is our primary focus, but we'll all level alts and do the regular DAoC thing as well.

What <Envy> is looking for from you:
A calm demeanor - No blowing up. We win more than we lose, but when we lose, it's time to focus and move onto the next win.

Knowledge of the game - We aren't just looking for the person who's been playing since beta, but if you don't have a pretty solid understanding of the game mechanics as a whole, it may not be a good fit. We're happy to teach what you may not know, and surely we don't know it all.

Good sense of humor - We've been playing together a long time and freely make fun of each other. We're totally open to giving and receiving feedback about our play. You'll become a better player here, and so will we.

A self driven, recruiting attitude - Everyone wants to level, but this isn't a PL ride. Be comfortable using /who and the LFG button until we grow. Most of us will have invite privileges and we're happy to extend those to you so that we can scale to a reasonable size quickly.

Hey Sonork,

I played ALb Pellinor and was in <Epic> which many members later formed <Envy>. I played an infiltrator named Azaziel, amongst other things but that's what people know/remember me as.

Some friends, my brother and I started playing on uthgard about 2-3 weeks ago and rolled Alb though :/ Funny enough, we're looking for a guild and if we can't find the right fit, we were going to create <Epic>

Who else from Epic/Envy is playing with you in hib?
