What are the top 3 best solo PVE classes on HIB? Granted I maind a friar last time and enjoyed the PVE grind /salvaging on that class. Would champion work? Or are the only good PVE Hib farmers casters?

Warden
Enchanter
Animist

Not necessarily in that order.
Siege - Warrior
Envoy - Bard
Aegis - Blademaster
Ethical - Mentalist

If u wish to play melee like you did with your friar, then play à valewalker believe me it is a good pve machine.
High dps with procs, good absorb buff, good evade, DD lifetape ideal for chain pulls and cheap to build (cloth armor).

For castors, enchanter and animist

Can Warden do enough damage to solo farm efficiently?

That sucks. I will roll enchanter or animist for pve farm then.

Doesn't Warden also have an endu reg ability? iirc it costs some mana, but you could get yourself some pom charge item - and voilà!

Warden is very good for farming but slow (worst dps than paladin) and expensive to build coz of armor. But pve farming takes time so, it is not the worst choice, and btw play what un love and enjoy. I prefer farm slower with a class i like than faster with a class i dislike. This is why i chose enchanter over animist

in another thread i asked for a dmgtable for uth 2.0...got no reply from the staff so i cant confirm 100%, but im quite certain that warden is even in a lower class than paladin. also with the common specs (if you wanna be groupable) you NEED some kind of heal on your warden, which makes your dmg utter garbage while pala at least skills either at least 29 in weapon when going slash, 50 shield, high chants and no AT. or even 44 when going thrust peelerino.

bottom line is there are ofc warden specs that deal more dmg than certain pala specs but they gimp your groupability.

Warden is on the Naturalist damage table. Paladin is on the Fighter damage table. I cannot remember numbers to quote with any confidence other than Fighter damage multiplier is greater than Naturalist. So with any sort of equal weapon and weapon spec, the paladin will always out damage a warden. So will the other comparative "crap" 8man class the Skald, which is on the Viking damage table and similarly higher damage multiplier.

The warden's Haste, which is pretty powerful, helps make up lost ground. 30-38% increase probably evens it all out and would make any fight between the two fairly close. I'd have to dig out the actual table table variance numbers to be sure. There is also the issue that paladin has access to 2H weapons. These have their own weapon damage bonus associated with them, a multiplier something like 1.1 + 0.005 * spec or similar.

For solo PvE, it's VW for sure. Animist and Enchanters are great if paired with a bard or mentalist, but they can have mana issues on their own without pots and/or RAs. VWs can chain pull with ease.

After that, I'd say Animist as it's much more versatile in the long run compared to Enchanter. Animists can jump into almost any group and do well. Also, they are much better for raids over Enchanters.

The only reason Enchanter is better than VW imo, is that enchanter can focus pull 3 yellows at a time, with relative safety.
