Isn't it more romantic to slowly get in touch with the different realities inside the realm, making friends to play with, understanding who you dislike, making youserlf a name, rather than looking from the start for the guild of champions with a big vault for guildies? :D
On Uthgard 1.0:
Totenpfeil <Ranger> - Vlath <Hunter> - Toten <Eldritch> - Totentanz <Skald>
On Uthgard 2.0:
Totenzweig <Druid> - Totentanz <Skald>

One sounds inefficient, the other sounds selfish. Why not make a post to help people EASILY get connected to a guild? You can't possible group with all the guilds of Hib and form those connections... Just like social media puts people together so too does forums instead of just in game interaction. Seems pretty intuitive to me.

You are totally entitled to be willing to chose directly the people with whom you'll relate and play, dealing with a list, and without having actually related with them at first.
My silly point of view was just a joke.

There's no separate recruting section in the official forum, but an idea of the actual active guilds in each realm can be obtained giving a look at the Herald.
Let's see what GMs think about it, even if historically, guilds willing to let people know they are welcoming new members, used main realm sections (as this one) to spread such info.
You might search the words recruits/recruting in the meanwhile.

There is already one thread for the german speaking community http://uthgard.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=22054
I know you pp lare looking for englisch speaking international guilds ,) and this thread is probably not more up to date too.

I don ´t know how staff could help with that issue, they are probably busy with some other, more important stuff (shrouded isles... yeahhhh) I think it ´s in the responsibiliy of the players to present their guilds in this forum and the game if they are looking for new members or want to introduce their guilds. So a topic like above for english section would probably be the best and uncomplicated solution.
