Druid Question + nature skill

Hi,
a friend of mine asked me if +nature skill has any effect at druid nature spells. I suppose that the root will be less resisted because the spell level gets improved but some ppl told me +nature skill in a template is wasted because it hasn `t any effect, can somebody pls help me? Its important for building a temp for him. Thx in advance Jerrian |

+skill don't help with resist rate at all.
The only spell that might be influenced by +nature would be DOT damage^^ so basically wasted I am assuming direct control.
