Hi all,

I'm a long-time live (EU, Lyonesse) player. Since my guild unexpectedly reformed on Uth I decided to come back here and join them.
After reading several topics I've come to the conclusion that playing a Ranger, which was always my main char on live, is not really a good idea, since there are so many of them around.

What class is sought for in PvE during leveling and especially in the actual, ongoing RvR?

Do you have any preferences? Pure healer, utility caster, dmg caster, offensive tank..?

Like you just said yourself, making a Ranger would be a horrible idea.

Even tho Bard is a useful class to have, I would make the claim that there are probably enough of those around aswell.

I would probably make something that deals damage and/or will be useful with the upcoming implementation of the Classic RA System.

Make whichever character you most love playing - these forums don't really reflect the game itself

I don't really have a preference since I've already played all classes and roles. Maybe it shouldn't be that hard to level solo, but that's not really a choice anyway...

How would a moon/mana eld or menta fit in?

Great for PvE, less great for RvR

mana eld/ment are grp for pve.

And you should respec light for RvR /)

Mana elds will shine with OF. Mana ments won't shine in RvR ever, they are quite nice when respecced to light though for RvR.
