I've personally decided to play a Champion since they get Str/Con as a buff. How popular are they in RvR?

Respecs...is it expensive to respec and how do you do it?

Template items. What are some good drops for Hib that are worth using a template in?

Leveling. I assume leveling is slower than live servers, but how fast do you think you can level to 50 playing average?

Thanks for answering my noob questions

Champ is a very strong solo tank. BUT if we get the Old Frontiers Realm Abilites (currently we have New Frontiers). You wont get access to determination (must have realm ability for group rvr).

Respecs aren't hard to acquire and cost a few platinum iirc.

Template items are incredibly easy to acquire in hibernia. All mobs are isolated, easy to approach and easy to duo with a single bard, druid or warden (juggernaut cloak, skeaghshee belt, orey-eyed oghamist rings) in cursed forest. Midar (soloable) in VOBL for bracers, easy to solo for a champion (red at 50).

Leveling sucks but you'll get there eventually.

In RvR champions are very powerful when solo if you know how to land annihilation on a moving target. In groups champions can be a very good asset despite what others may write to discourage you (like losing det with OF). You can do damage, you can interrupt, dex/qui debuff enemy support and str/con+haste debuff enemy tanks.

Where are the best places to level for Hib on here? I'm not sure since I come from live servers. And what's the best way to farm plat? I'm assuming crafting and auctioning items is the best bet, but is there any thing else.

I'm not too concerned about the Det. I planned on soling more than anything, and grouping if the group is decently set up.

Dungeons, DF when it's open and not too crowded. Emain is okay for a group of lvl 25+ or 35+ if you're solo.

Money wise, I can't really tell what's best on hib since I never farmed much back in the day when I got mine to 50 lots of things were different. You can definitely farm CF bosses for auctions if you have someone to duo with you. Soloing uh, the mobs at the entrance to the dragon zone I guess for shop food.
