It's really great that you're curious... but who are you? Signature, or in-game char name, something at least... (it's not a lvl 40-something fotm zerker or savage, is it?)

There was a noticeable difference between the tempted people and the free DF gear people during beta...

So, you don't NEED a template, but you are saying that you are free RPs without one? You seem to be slightly contradicting yourself in this statement. I get what you are saying, but running into people who are temped when not temped is like trying to smash down a brick wall with your head. Unless you are roaming frontiers looking for expers, then you should be temped because everybody else out there will be.

Reading comprehension fail. Was refuting the other guys statement that you dont need a template to compete, because TECHNICALLY you do not need a template to RvR, but you do need one to compete. There are no mechanics that require you to have one, but in reality to compete with people who DO have temps, you NEED a temp or you get your ass kicked. I should have been clearer i guess.
