Tried soloing orange/red, xp is nerfed a lot, was not getting anywhere near cap xp... pretty sure this is no where near live like, or there would be no anis... will bench mine for a bit, no respec available anyway, no point continuing.

Am sure they will review this at some stage again, and give a better fix. Only reasonable explanation right now in my head is this was done to combat the lag zerg created, which in a sense worked.

xp stealing might be linked to this issue
https://uthgard.org/tracker/issue/3537/ ... in_xp_loss

just the main pet should leech xp for the animist, not the grp imo. normal shrooms should not leech anything.

I only have exp from enchanter from back in the day but i believe that if a pet does 100% of the damage to the mob (not sure if that included pet damageshield) it would cut the exp by 50%. if it only did around 50% total damage the exp would be 75%.
Any damage that would come in from the grp or from "normal" cast would not be affected by this reduction.

You said...pretty sure this isnt live like.

That's the problem none if you have any proof for all this blah blah blah blah you're saying just a bunch of I don't remember it this way I think it should be this way none of you guys are citing any proof or verification, just what you think and how you feel and frankly nobody cares.

Site unrefutable proof or you guys are just theory crafting gabbing like school girls

Since the bog fix, I haven't seen much overland lag any more.

This is a good change.

Ye you are right, no proof, just like you or any1 else. Would i go to live and test this, just to prove something otherwise, no, and frankly i couldnt care less about it. Just saying nerf > not playable in current spec.

Would you agree, if Players need to give evidence for a change, a staff-member should do the same, to put in important changes like this, which cut off Hibernias most important farm-class?

History will repeat soon...

Blue wrote:Changes that went online and may be important here:

- Pets leech XP now as they do on live servers. Uncontrolled shrooms will be hungry for XP ofcourse.
- Global default respawn rates for level 50-64 mobs were accidently at a way too high rate. The increased (doubled) respawn rates that were introduced 1 week ago included mobs which shouldn't be included by it. Its now a proportional formula for level 50-64 mobs (in regard to level). Level 50 mobs have a fast respawn, level 64 mobs slower. Basically the respawn rates of the higher mobs are back to what it was like 2 weeks ago.

Please note that these are the defaults. GM's can setup any spot or camp in any way thats required to reach original behavior. So this doesn't apply to all mobs you see ingame.

(Siabra village uses default spawn rates)

So is this 1.65 like? Is there proof to show this is 1.65 like? I find it hard to believe that only a PL area was affected by this bug.

I am convinced that spawn rates throughout Hib are broken, camps are nowhere near as big as they were back in 1.65 yet I have no evidence to prove otherwise. The burden of proof on the users should also apply to admins, it's only fair.

So where is the evidence?

Alright last one lol, before bed, ofc i am ****** off, i grinded out 49 lvls on a char to be able to boost others, in a spec, that is not group friendly and relies on shrooms... Nerfing it like that at the end of the road and making it useless.... ye, you will get angry people, if i saw this at the start of lvling, i wouldve dropped it ages ago, but after 49 lvls.... at least provide a free respec then, so my ani doesnt sit there doing nothing for the rest of the time i play.

QFT.

Controllable pets steal xp

uncontrollable pets do not.

Nice fix to make xp harder though, generally that's your rule. Make the game harder than it needs to be in PvE.

Impulse changes like this without research ( uncontrollable shrooms should NOT steal XP) is what killed Uthgard 1.0.

Congrats! Half of the ( already low) Hibernia population will diminish now, guaranteed.
